Descriptions:

• PUCP-Sat 1 is the first Peruvian satellite built by the Institute for Radio Astronomy of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (INRAS-PUCP).
• The 1270 g satellite is built on the 1U-CubeSat form factor. It will transmit temperature readings from 19 internal sensors and will deploy the 127 g Pocket-PUCP picosatellite.
• The satellite will be deployed from the Italian UniSat 5 satellite after launch on a Dnepr booster.
• Cubesats to be deployed from Unisat-5 were:
  • ICUBE-1 for Inst. of Space Technology, Islamabad.
  • PUCPSat-1 for Pontifica Universidad Catolica del Peru, Lima.
  • HUMSAT-D for University of Vigo, Spain.
  • Dove-4 (3U), Earth imaging satellite for PlanetLabs.
    One of these may not yet have been deployed.
